1) What Are Subtle Energies?

WILLIAM A. TILLER, Stanford University, Stanford

Scientist and Author

Fellow to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science, Professor Emeritus William A. Tiller, of Stanford University’s Department of Materials Science, spent 34 years in academia after 9 years as an advisory physicist with the Westinghouse Research Laboratories. He has published over 250 conventional scientific papers, 3 books and several patents. In parallel, for over 30 years, he has been avocationally pursuing serious experimental and theoretical study of the field of psychoenergetics which will very likely become an integral part of "tomorrow’s" physics. In this new area, he has published an additional 100 scientific papers and four seminal books.

Abstract - A brief discussion is given of a set of anomalous experimental phenomena that are inexplicable based only on the four accepted forces operating in the physical universe. Possible explanations require defining the existence of subtle energies. Using a quantum mechanical description, the seat of subtle energy functioning is traced to the vacuum state with magnetic vector potential assuming the role of bridge between the subtle energies and physical energies. A brief discussion is given of how we might reliably detect subtle energies and a zeroth order model of the subtle domains as substructure for the vacuum state is given.

2) An Extensive Laboratory Study of Pranic Healing Using Contemporary Medical Imaging and Laboratory Methods

Joie P. Jones, University of California, Irvine

Invited Presentation for the Seventh World Pranic Healers’ Convention Mumbai, India, May 12-14, 2006

Abstract - The objective of our long term study, conducted over the past decade, was to critically evaluate Pranic Healing in a laboratory setting using rigorous mainstream scientific methods. In this study, we investigated possible mediation effects of Pranic Healing on human cells in culture, which had been subjected to gamma radiation.

3) The Effect of “Healing with Intent” on Pepsin Enzyme Activity

TONI BUNNELL, School of Health, University of Hull United Kingdom

Abstract - This study was conducted in an attempt to determine whether “healing with intent” could be shown to exert an effect on pepsin enzyme activity which, if proven, might serve to raise the credibility of healing as a bona fide therapy.

4) Scalar Waves: Theory and Experiments

KONSTANTIN MEYL Transferzentrum der Steinbeis-Stiftung

Abstract - It will be shown that scalar waves, which normally remain unnoticed, are very interesting in terms of their practical use for information and energy technology because of their special attributes.
